Document the Weather

The weather is also part of nature! If you’d like to see a beautiful documentation of weather, take a look at Be a Weather Detective by Peggy Kochanoff. Peggy beautifully illustrates nature in all of her books and is an excellent illustrator to look up to when it comes to nature journaling!

Maybe you can draw what you see during a lightening storm or the snow as it settles on the tress.

In addition to capturing the weather, make sure to take notes. What do you see? How does it feel? How are the animals responding?
